At Honey Bees Day Nursery we understand that you want your child to feel safe, loved and happy which is why all our highly dedicated staff work hard to ensure that the needs of your child are fully met and that they are truly valued. We have taken great care to build an experienced team so that you as parents and carers can feel confident that your child will be looked after by experts. Any apprentices who join us at Honey Bees are carefully selected, closely mentored and trained to be as outstanding as their more senior, experienced colleagues.

Amy Roberts
(BA HONs, EYP, Level3 Forest School Leader) – Duty Manager
Hi, I’m Amy Roberts, Duty Manager, Forest School Leader and one of the designated safeguarding leaders for Honey Bees. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and have worked in childcare for over 25 years with experience in Nurseries and Primary Schools. I am a qualified level 3 Forest School Leader and sharing my passion for the outdoors with the children is part of what makes my job so rewarding.
Stacey Crehan
(NVQ Level 3, NCFE level 3 special educational needs) – Duty Manager
Hello, I’m Stacey Crehan, Duty Manager and a designated safeguarding leader. I have more than 15 years’ experience working with children and absolutely love supporting the team, working in all the rooms and seeing the children happy and engaged in their play. One of the best parts of my job is the sense of pride I have seeing our children making leaps and bounds of progress, making new friends and feeling excited about their fun days at nursery.
Laura Wright
(CACHE Level 3) Deputy Manager and Baby Room Leader
Hello, I’m Laura Wright and I’m both the Deputy Manager at Honey Bees and also the Baby Room Leader. I’m also a designated safeguarding leader for the setting. I have over 25 years’ experience working in nurseries and as a nanny. I really enjoy all aspects of my job and love working alongside parents and children to ensure we always provide the best care possible.

OUR TRAINING
At Honey Bees Day Nursery we continuously work on our professional development and stay up to date with new knowledge, initiatives and statutory guidance. All of our team are trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding and child protection, health and safety, fire safety, food hygiene, safer sleep, Prevent and British Values. The leadership team are trained as Designated Safeguarding Leaders. Our SENDCo has completed specific Level 3 training for working with SEND children. We access regular training through our online provider, Noodle Now, as well as training provided by our local authority.
