Our setting enjoys masses of gorgeous natural outdoor space and beautiful gardens with an allotment which the children use to grow their own fruits and vegetables. Honey Bees has a genuine family feel and we will lavish time and attention upon your child. We maintain a strong focus upon all areas of the EYFS to prepare your child for an outstanding start to life and the important transition to primary school. Our home-from-home setting is warm and welcoming and will make your child feel comfortable, confident and loved.
To maintain effective communication between home and nursery each child is allocated a ‘Key Person’. After one or two settling-in visits to Honey Bees, we will carefully identify which practitioner your child has formed the closest relationship with. This practitioner will then become an integral part of your child’s time here at Honey Bees. One of the wonderful benefits of our nursery however is that ALL staff know ALL children well. Seeing the same friendly faces every day will help your little one feel settled and happy very quickly.
We are open from 7:30am until 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, all year round except for bank holidays and approximately two weeks over the Christmas period. We follow the academic holiday pattern of Preesall Carter’s Charity Primary School.
